There is no application for HCQ. Participants complete a field trip permission slip through their school prior to attending. Check eligibility requirements to see if your school is a partner.

Central Virginia Middle Schools: Counselors or Science Teachers may contact the program coordinator to coordinate a field trip.

Program description

Healthcare Quest provides middle school students with early exposure to healthcare careers in the form of a one-day field trip to VCU’s MCV campus. Participants will engage with medical professionals to learn about healthcare careers and engage in hands-on activities.

Dates

Weekdays in the Fall (August - December) and Spring (January - May).

Location

Various VCU Health Campus academic buildings.
