Health Care Quest
Richmond and Henrico Public School students in grades 6th, 7th and 8th.
Each year, the VCU Health Sciences Pipeline is able to bring more than 500 middle school students to VCU Health for an afternoon of health career exploration! The purpose of Health Care Quest is to provide middle school students with early exposure to health care careers.
During Health Care Quest, middle school students travel through VCU’s Health Sciences Campus for two and a half hours to learn about health care careers from professionals and engage in hands-on activities. 6th grade students explore Dentistry and Medicine, 7th grade students explore Nursing and Pharmacy and 8th grade students explore Allied Health careers.
